Inspired by the changing skies of the Sonoran Desert, Grey Skies reflects the quiet beauty of overcast days, when gathering clouds offer relief from intense summer heat and often herald the arrival of life-giving rain. Through layered stone, glass, ceramic, and porcelain, the work evokes an atmosphere of stillness and anticipation, reminding us that moments of softness often precede renewal.

This artwork features hand cut glass tiles, glazed ceramic, slate natural stone, matte porcelain tiles, obsidian (volcano glass), granite.
The smaller substrate is handmade and stacked on lightweight Wediboard.
