Quiet Ascension
This mixed media artwork is a meditation on stillness as a form of quiet power. Partly inspired by Louise Nevelson’s monochromatic style, this work merges mosaic traditions with a contemporary voice. A handmade central panel with a unique genuine patina anchors the composition. The surface and handmade ceramic forms suggest time, wear, and endurance. Surrounding it, metal mosaic niches, filled with textural elements, are unified in a deep Molten Metallic Bronze hue. In this muted harmony, the work becomes a shrine to transformation: to the beauty of restraint, to the soft resilience found in silence, and to the steady rise that comes not through force, but through presence.
