Long-Lost Particles
This work reflects on the mystery of long-lost particles—matter that drifts between geology and physics, memory and imagination. Six mosaic niches on a handmade substrate painted in Charcoal Molten Metallics form an abstracted landscape layered with hand-cut slate, stained glass, and polished peridot—a semi precious gemstone known as the “gem of the sun,” symbolizing renewal, abundance, positive energy, and transformation. Subtle accents of iridescent green glass tile in the upper niches suggest architectural fragments, while at the crown, a circular stained glass form and brass elements evoke a celestial presence.
