Aurora

$580

In Aurora, the feminine form becomes a vessel for first light. The sculpture carries the essence of dawn—curves rising and unfolding as if touched by the earliest glow. Named for Aurora, the ancient Roman goddess of sunrise, the work honors that fleeting moment of transition when darkness gives way to radiance.

The hand-cut and tumbled alabaster, with soft translucency and subtle variations, evokes the quiet luminosity of early morning. A metal element introduces a contrasting glint against the stone. Aurora is less a depiction of a figure than an embodiment of emergence: the moment when light begins to appear and a new day takes shape. The feminine form becomes an abstract vessel for that sense of possibility, renewal, and awakening.
