The beauty of ancient stone, weathered surfaces, and fragments of handmade ceramics comes together in a meditation on the wisdom of those who came before us. Created on a lightweight handmade substrate the background is a homemade patina. The center is rusted metal that I found on a beautiful beach during a trip to Ireland. The metal is surrounded by handmade glazed ceramic and travertine natural stone.
