Created using two stacked handmade substrates. The smaller substrate features an oxidized iron metal coating, sealed with an industrial metal sealer. Tesserae include rusted metal hardware, hand cut and tumbled travertine stones, native turquoise-colored stones from Bisbee, Arizona, and rusted horseshoe nails.​
