Celebration and Joy
This artwork was inspired by the pink colors that are symbolic of celebration during Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). Families and friends pay joyful honor to the lives of the deceased. They celebrate the return of the dead and their reunion with family members. The color pink is often used to decorate Day of the Dead skeletons, or calaveras.
